State Street opens new Boston office building at One Channel Center
Mayor Martin Walsh joined State Street Corp. chief executive Jay Hooley and other executives at a ceremony to open the Boston company’s new office building at One Channel Center.

State Street said the building, which has capacity for more than 3,500 employees, consists of workspace designed to support mobility and flexible work schedules. Mayor Martin Walsh (center) cuts the ribbon with State Street chief executive Jay Hooley (right).

"The way ahead in financial services is highly dependent on attracting and maintaining a talented, diverse and engaged workforce to build innovative solutions for our clients, " said Jay Hooley, chairman, president and CEO at State Street.
